A launch film for STOVE, the game platform by Smilegate, made for the moment the brand met the world.
Smilegate unveiled STOVE, a platform built to carry a game through its whole life: development, launch, community and service. For the launching show, we created the film that introduced the brand on stage.
The story starts where games started. A pixel starship gives way to a full 3D world, and the journey opens up into everything the platform holds: creation, game economy, community and a service that reaches players around the world. We built it all in flat vector illustration around the brand's warm orange, keeping the shapes simple and the motion playful, so a technology platform could feel like what it serves: games.
