CI already owned crime. The task: broaden it into mystery and the paranormal without losing the grit, and build imagery that carried the channel even with the logo absent from frame.

The concept was Converged Timelines: three worlds — victim, criminal, law enforcement — colliding in one space. Rather than stage the crime, we implied it. Cinematic macro textures stood in for the scene — a surface, a shadow, an object held a beat too long — and let the viewer build the rest.

The system ran on contrast — half light, half dark, limestone realism against midnight noir — with a single red shard carrying the CI mark through every ident. Texture did the talking; the channel read as itself before the logo ever appeared.

One rule held across idents, endpages, navigation, and lineups: the human element in the idents, pure cinematic macro everywhere else. CI arrived gritty, real, and unmistakably its own — crime you could feel without ever being shown.
