Bardstown Bourbon Nowhere We Won't Go

A label you can feel

Bardstown made its name as one of bourbon's most restless experimenters: unexpected finishes, global collaborations, and an endless run of trials in pursuit of a better pour.

"Nowhere We Won't Go" had to make that ethos visible. The graphics were earned the same way, run after run of tests on line, texture, and motion, and tied back to the place the brand is named for: Bardstown, Kentucky.

Drawn from the map

The brand is named for a place, so we let the place draw the type. Topographic contour lines — the language of maps and elevation — became the graphic system, threading through the animated typography like a route charted across the terrain the campaign refuses to stop crossing.

To make the type feel as real as the label on the bottle, we gave it paper texture — grain, fiber, and the faint imperfection of something printed and handled. Against the film's jazz-meets-electronic score, the typography stops reading like an overlay and starts reading like an object you could reach out and touch.
